András Nagy insisted that all streets, where the shooting took place, should be wet for better cinematographic effect. The crew was therefore always equipped with water cistern-trucks.
The Phantom's Porsche Targa used in movie is an authentic car from 1970s and was repainted from blue to match the original color of one that was almost completely crushed in police blockade on Slavija and later bought in parts by an anonymous collector.
Police cars used in the movie are one Zastava 1300 (''tristac'') and 3 Zastavas 101 (''stojadin''). All four were actually civilian cars and were bought for about 1250$ and later repainted. Considering that all three Zastavas 101 were crushed for shooting, only the oldest model (Zastava 1300) survived. It is today part of the exhibition at the Belgrade Car Museum.
Most of all car-chase scenes were shot with only one camera.
Sequences shot on the Slavija Circus contain some CG edition (digital deleting of billboards, advertisements and digital reconstruction of former objects, most notably famous Slavija Cinema).
