Tomer Sisley in The Heir Apparent: Largo Winch (2008)

Goofs

The Heir Apparent: Largo Winch

Edit

Continuity

When Largo awakes at Melina's, the length of his beard is shorter than it was the evening before. Unless Melina shaved him during his sleep, which seems awkward, that is impossible.
When Meyer (David Gasman) is sitting in his office, there is a blue pocket square in the chest pocket of his suit. In the next scene, when he enters the council room, the pocket square has gone.
When Largo is in Korski's plane, the length of his beard is shorter than it was in the earlier scene when he was waiting on the landing field.
When Largo leaves the Hong Kong airport using personnel exits, the car waiting for him is first seen parked on the side, facing the sense of the road, with the sea on its left. In another plan a few minutes later, while the car has not moved yet, it is shown facing the sea.
In the scene where Largo confronts Goran on the terrace, the fictional Winch Building is visible in the cityscape. In the next shots and during the fight, the building disappears.

Factual errors

Marcus' gun only reveals it is empty after he pulls the trigger one time. In reality the last fired round will result in the gun slide locking in place in empty position. It will not require an additional trigger pull. In fact it is the round exiting the gun which provides the mechanical force to move the slide back to begin with.
The orphanage is named in Serbian ekavian dialect, "Ustanova bele golubice", but the police forces who arrest Largo are those of Bosnia and Herzegovina where ijekavian dialect is used only.

Revealing mistakes

The diver who drowned Nerio Winch was using a rebreather. Rebreathers do not produce bubbles since the exhaled air is circulated back to a compartment containing a substance to absorb the carbon dioxide before oxygen is added for reinhalation.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

When Naomi (Mélanie Thierry) is talking to Largo (Tomer Sisley) in the car, what she says doesn't match her lips.

Errors in geography

The old pictures showing the early life of Nerio Winch during the General Meeting are actually pictures from the town of Turnovo in Bulgaria. For a brief moment a sign in Bulgarian is shown that says Hotel Dobrudgea.
