This episode revolves around Rose (Lainie Kazan). While she's been separated from her husband for some time, she is shocked when he asks for a divorce. Not surprisingly, she's depressed. But she can't allow herself to remain that way, as her amicable divorce just got ugly when it's realized that her hubby has been doctoring his records in order to make it appear as if he has far less money. This necessitates Rose being aggressive...something she isn't comfortable with yet.
The best moment in this episode is in class when it becomes obvious that somehow Professor Kingsfield knows about the divorce but is also, in his usual manner, makes it seem as if he's disconnected and aloof...but he's clearly offering her help. A cute moment and an enjoyable episode.
