Synopsis

  • Dr. Doom kidnaps the President and the entire crew of Air Force One near Jersey CIty. Doom implants a mind control device into the President to ensure his complete loyalty.

Spider-Man hears of the President's disappearance and makes his way to Jersery City and finds Doom's airship. After a brief encounter with Doom, he releases the plane and they arrive at New York. Spider-Man is suspicious why Doom would let this happen.

Later Doom performs the same procedure on the representative from South Africa. He mentions that this is the penultimate step in his latest plan for world domination. He has done this to all of the world leaders prior to the next UN meeting.

During the next assembly of the UN, Doom has his robots kidnap the Secretary General and is put under his mental control as well. The first order of business after they reconvene is to unanimously elect Doom as leader of the Earth.

His reign is short-lived as Spider-Man discovers his plan and is able to turn his robot army against him.
