Anubis had nothing to do with poisons. He was the God of mummification and the afterlife.
It isn't 7 dog years for every human year. And the aging process doesn't change speed, regardless of age.
The basic rule with all creatures is that the bigger the animal, the longer they live. So with dogs that means that a doberman will outlive a shitzu, and a great dane will outlive them both. So how long a dog year is depends on the dog, so the relative age depends on the dogs.
There are no Egyptian dog headed gods. Anubis had the head of a jackal, and Wepwawet was an actual wolf in most depictions, and was the "opener of the ways".
Wepwawet guided the dead on their journey through the underworld, and accompanied Pharaohs on hunting trips. He never ate the organs of anyone. (How could Osiris weigh the heart against the feather if Wepwawet ate it?)
Tom Christie tells Sandra Pullman and Gerry Standing that he is a wine dealer, and offers them a glass of wine asking for a 2nd opinion. As he pours Gerry a glass, he cups the bowl as he pours it. This is generally discouraged in the wine industry, as the heat from ones hand impairs the flavour. Because of this, it is preferred to hold the glass by the stem during wine tasting, thus the liquid remains at room temperature (or chilled as required) for longer. Something Mr Christie should be aware of, working in the industry.
