Namastey London (2007)

Goofs

Namastey London

Edit

Continuity

In the disco where Jasmeet and her friends are partying, she goes to the entrance and splashes her martini on Charlie. Yet in the next shot Charlie's face as well as clothes show no signs of being wet.
When you first see Akshay Kumar riding down the dirt road on his motorbike, he has iPod earphones in his ears. In the next scene of him stopping his bike and approaching the car, the earphones have disappeared, as well as the sight of any iPod or mp3 player.
In the scene where Jasmeet is changing clothes inside the cab, she tells the cab driver to stop staring at her. In that shot she has her hair down. However, in the next shot when Jasmeet tells the driver to pay attention to driving, her hair is again tied back, while in the next shot after that her hair is down again.
In the first scene where Katrina meets Ritesh her hair is styled in a straight fashion, yet in the next shot in the cab her curls are back.
In the scene where ghee is being rubbed into Katrina's mother's hair, the pallu on the old lady's head keeps shifting between shots.

Factual errors

As per tradition, it is the father's duty to walk Jazz down the aisle in the very first scene.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

In the last scene Akshay's lips are not matching the words he is heard saying.
When Katrina visits the second prospective groom in India, in her last dialogue her lips do not match when she says "I like him, I like him".

Crew or equipment visible

After some girls offer lassi to Jasmeet in Baldev's house in Punjab and are heading down the stairs, a crew member can be seen near the staircase.

Character error

When Akshaya Kumar, speaking in Hindi, says "Teen Hazaar Panchson" magazines, Katrina Kaif wrongly translates it to "Thirty Five Thousand" instead of "Three Thousand Five Hundred" in English.
When Charlie and Jazz are at the altar the priest says, "Do you Jasmeet Singh take Charles Brown to be your lawfully wedded husband" when Jazz's surname is Malhotra.
In an early scene, Jazz tells her girlfriend that she's never even been to India; but when the Malhotras visit India and arrive at the villa of old friends, "Bebe" remarks about Jazz: "she was so small when she left." Since Jazz was really young when she left it is quite possible she doesn't remember being in India at all and her parents might have neglected to mention it over the years as they didn't go back.
