Roseanne has her 37th birthday and gets a bit upset about the fact that she doesn't write anymore. Dan makes her an office in the basement and take kids away for her birthday. But she has a huge writing block and doesn't write anything.

I think Dan was absolutely sweet in this episode. The office he made for Roseanne was a present from a great husband. I am just surprised she got her Saturday off for her birthday. I thought she said right away she doesn't work weekends and it was a big deal.
