Two film students with no experience nor money want to make a film. They can only get financing for a porn film with porn star Candy.

Joe Clarke (Tom Riley) and John "Baggy" Bagley (Tom Burke) are two misfit English film school students whose first movie goes awry. Desperate to finance their flick, they turn to a porn producer who agrees to give them the money needed in exchange for the guys to cast a semi-retired adult movie star named Candy Fiveways (Carmen Electra). Candy agrees to the deal, but Joe and Baggy's efforts to make their own movie morphs into a raunchy show for which they use Joe's suburban parents house as their set.—matt-282

A group of film students (Joe (Tom Riley) & Baggy (Tom Burke)) at Leatherhead University in search of funding for their feature film The Love Storm. They do odd jobs as filming funerals etc. in order to accumulate funds for their dream project. Dulberg (Mackenzie Crook) is their film professor at college. At the last minute Dulberg changes the end of yr project from a full-length feature film to a short film. Joe lives with Mum (Felicity Montagu) & Dad (Philip Jackson), who discourage him from trying his luck in the entertainment industry. dad wants Joe to join his School of motoring business.

Lila (Michelle Ryan) is Joe and Baggy's friend and waitresses at a local cafe. Lila encourages them to go to London (which is 20 mins away) and pitch their project to any of the 100's of film producers in the city. But to their frustration, they can't meet any producer, without an appointment. While walking the streets they find the offices of "Head Films" and decide to give it a shot. Doug (Eddie Marsan) is the producer. Joe quickly realizes that Doug produces adult porn films. Doug throws them out of his office, but Joe interprets this as Doug's offer to meet him again after they rewrite their movie.

They end up having to rewrite and make it into a pornographic film. Joe and Baggy rent the best porno movies from the Video Store Guy (Jimmy Carr), to research the subject. A regular movie is bad if people shut it in 10 mins, but in erotica, that's a good job done. Baggy decides to make the first porno that people will watch till the end. The best porn actress in the business is Candy Fiveways (Carmen Electra), who has earned 3 cocks, the equivalent of Oscars in the adult entertainment world. Joe decides to track her down. He talks to whom he thinks is her manager, but only ends up ordering a plastic sex doll that looks like Candy. Joe thinks he has a deal with Candy and pitches his project again to Doug. Doug signs a deal with Joe but tells him to keep it a secret as Doug and Candy had some issues the last time they worked together.

Soon, they sign a nerdy crew, who is excited to work with women. Casting is underway. Joe wants to hire girls with boobies, while Lila wants to hire a stud named Carl. This is when the package arrives, and Joe realizes that they have a Candy doll instead of the actual actress. Doug has in turn sold the movie to Michael De Veer (John Standing), who expects him to deliver. Michael tells Doug that Candy is in London promoting her new book and threatens Joe that he signed up to a Candy movie, that's what he expects from Joe. Joe and Baggy have no choice but to approach Candy at her book signing event.

Joe tells Lila that the movie they are making is financed by gangsters. Joe can't return the money as he has already spent it on suits, watches and mobile. Baggy, meanwhile, is besotted with Candy. He chats her up and hands his script to her. Candy is under contract by the publisher not to do any porn films till the following yr. Still, Candy reads the script and agrees to meet the team the following day. Due to budget issues, Lila decides to shoot the movie in Joe's parents' house. Candy duly arrives at the appointed hour. Baggy gets nervous and hides in Joe's room with Lila, while Joe shows Candy around. Candy meets Baggy and boosts his confidence by saying that he has a great script that needs to be made into a movie. Candy knows that the guys are students, with no money and shooting in their parents' house. She explains that a porn name is made of the name of the first Pet and the street you lived on

Candy starts shooting for the movie. Doug gives Joe one week to deliver the film. Carl ejaculates prematurely in the sex scene with Candy (he comes when she barely touches him). Thats when Doug walks in and Candy realizes that she just did a movie for Doug. She feels betrayed. Baggy hands over the movie to Doug. But unknown to anyone, he switches the DVDs and gives the "real" one to Joe and the 2 min "class" version to Doug.

Joe shows the movie at his class (unknown to him, it was the "real" movie version), in front of all the parents, as part of his annual assignment submission. Doug shows the movie to Michael, which only had Candy smashing some tomatoes. Doug rushes to college to see the "real" movie being filmed. Doug and Michael feel they can win a golden cock for this movie. But Joe and Baggy are thrown out of college.

The film is nominated for a golden cock, but Joe finds that Doug and Michael are taking all creative credit for the movie. He rushes to London with Lila. Joe finds Candy at the awards and tells her that Baggy never cheated her and that she should forgive him. Baggy meets the video store guy who says that Baggy made a masterpiece movie. This makes his day, and he rushes to London as well for the awards. The award is presented by Candy, and when The Love Storm wins, she announces Joe and Baggy as the producer and the director. Baggy and Candy make up. Baggy makes a "proper" film.
