Goofs

The Brothers Solomon

Edit

Continuity

A walkie-talkie appears, disappears and reappears during a scene in the brother's apartment. When John asks Tara to go to a movie, he places the walkie-talkie onto the medical equipment between her and his father's bed. As he leaves the apartment, the walkie-talkie isn't seen anywhere near Tara. When Janine talks to Tara about the Brothers Solomon and Dean overhears Tara call them "losers", the walkie-talkie has returned to its place on the medical equipment.
The scene where the microwave trips the electricity, where they decide that Dean will revive the father while John gets the circuit breakers. Dean runs to the circuit breakers while John runs to the father. After the lights come back, Dean is at the father while John is at the circuit breakers.
In the scene where the brothers are trying to protect themselves from the boyfriend, Dean grabs a fireplace broom and holds it bristle end up. But every time they show the boyfriend over the shoulders of the brothers, the handle of the broom is on top rather than the bristles.
In the scene where John gets in the elevator with Tara, the balloons change colors. When he is out of the elevator his balloon is yellow but when he gets in the elevator it is blue.

Factual errors

When the brother's mention that they were raised in the Arctic, a line of text appears on screen that reads "0 degrees Latitude / 0 degrees Longitutde", but that is incorrect; the North Pole is at 90 degrees Latitude, while the Equator is at 0 degrees Latitude.
In the scene at the North Pole, it shows land, there is no land at the North Pole.

Revealing mistakes

The scene where the brothers are typing the ad for the Craigslist post, two blinking lines can be seen, one from where they clicked in the dialog box and one which is the overlay.
The doctor mistakingly calls Dean "Will". Will Forte is the actor, but his character's name is Dean Solomon.
