Gangster's Paradise: Jerusalema (2008)

Goofs

Gangster's Paradise: Jerusalema

Edit

Continuity

When Lucky and his gang storm into the club for the climactic shoot-out, it is still dark outside. However, a few minutes later he chases his nemesis onto the roof of the building where it is clearly broad daylight.

Revealing mistakes

When Josh is in drug rehab, a sign says "Hospice Entrance" is clearly visible, showing that the scene was shot at a hospice.

Anachronisms

The car license plates in the scenes set in 1994 end with GP (for Gauteng Province). At the time, the plates were yellow, and ended with "T", for Transvaal.
The boys mention winning the Lotto when walking down the street in the scene set in 1994. The South African Lotto (National Lottery) started in 2000.
A license disk on a vehicle windscreen clearly shows the year 2006 early in the movie, even though a scene was set in the 1990s.
A Johannesburg Metro police car chases the boys early in the movie after they hijack a car in the 1990s; the Johannesburg Metro Police were only formed around 2001.
The characters withdraw money from an ABSA-branded ATM in 1994. The ABSA consumer branding was created in the late nineties, so an ABSA-branded ATM could not have existed in 1994.

Crew or equipment visible

When Kunene is on the beach in Durban at the end of the movie, the tracks made by the film crews vehicles are clearly visible.
