It's always the husband in these stories who is skeptical about the happenings right under his nose, refusing to believe that there's anything paranormal when his pregnant wife claims she's being pushed down a flight of stairs and his handyman starts acting like a man possessed by demons (which he is).
As it turns out, a psychic has to be called in to solve the mystery behind the hauntings in the dance hall that is occupying land that had once been a slaughter house.
These series episodes are extremely well done, even when GATEWAY TO HELL seems a little far-fetched to be based on true incidents. The acting is very intense and the story is compelling enough to draw the viewer in from the start. An exorcism finally rids the distraught handyman of his demons, but even then the club owner stays on in his establishment and can't quite believe the place was ever really haunted by evil spirits. His wife and the handyman both know differently and vow never to return to the club.
