The future of Ivanka Trump‘s fashion empire may be in jeopardy, as her brand continues to vanish from retailer websites at the same time that Trump continues to work with the White House alongside her father’s administration. It was announced late last week that Nordstrom would no longer be carrying the brand in stores or online, and it appears that Neiman Marcus has also followed suit, removing more than a dozen accessories and jewelry from their website. Now, it seems as though Macy’s might be the next to distance themselves from the first family, as consumers participating...

Comic book readers love controversy, and so did creators on Twitter Wednesday night. Tweets showed up all night mourning the death of Twitter user @Hobodarkseid, who was outed in an NPR blog post as being none other than writer Matt Fraction.
Elsewhere, a few creators took issue with claims made my Tyrese Gibson in a CNN article about inventing digital comics for iTunes. Brian Michael Bendis and Christian Beranek both weighed in on that one. On lighter notes, Jon Favreau and Stan Lee are both jazzed about "Iron Man 2," and Stan Lee believes he may outshine Robert Downey Jr.
All of those insights and more can be found below in the Twitter Report for October 1, 2009.
@Jerwa So, @Hobodarkseid is actually Matt Fraction. Well played, sir.
-Brandon Jerwa, Writer ("Highlander," "Battlestar Galactica")
@McKelvie If Batman had known the radio could kill Darkseid, Final Crisis would have been a lot shorter.

Conservative political commentator and best-selling author Ann Coulter has riled up the women of The View once again with her appearance on today's show. Coulter was on the show to promote her new book, "Gulty: Liberal Victims and their Assault on America." The segment featured Coulter repeatedly claiming she was being attacked and co-host Whoopi Goldberg replying, "You can dish it out but you can't take it."
Among the unpopular views described by Coulter in her new book and on the program were how people like Barack Obama and Halle Berry identify themselves as black after their black fathers have left and are raised by white mothers, and also how single mothers are raising future murderers and rapists. "I'm just giving the numbers. 80% of the inmates in prisons were raised by single mothers. About 70% of the runaways of the juvenile delinquents, juvenile murderers, rapists, raised by single mothers," Coulter said.
