Plot

An invitation for a famous Iranian bandmaster, Maxx, living in a foreign country, is accidentally sent to a young cabaret singer with the same name.

Tale of mistaken identity about Maxx, an Iranian nightclub singer in Los Angeles, who is invited to Iran by the Ministry of Culture, as a well-known music scholar, to give a classical music presentation. The well-meaning but oblivious Maxx becomes wrapped up in political intrigue while experiencing an identity crisis.
