Super cool party people bid you super cool adieu

Rory goes to visit Logan in the hospital and goes off on Colin and Finn for being immature during this situation. She makes a call to Paris who makes a call to the hospital and gets the scoop on Logan's injuries. Paris calls back Rory to tell her how badly Logan is hurt.

Luke and Lorelai go shopping and he sees a present he might want to get April for her birthday. He ends up telling Lorelai that he doesn't want her and April to hangout yet. Lorelai is baffled and asks why. He tells her that she's too cool and April would like her more than she likes Luke.

Luke throws a birthday party for April at the diner and it's a disaster. He calls Lorelai for reinforcements and she turns the party into a success. Once Anna finds out that Lorelai hosted the sleepover without her permission, she yells at Luke who then proceeds to tell Lorelai that Anna is upset. Lorelai goes to Anna's store later on to make amends.

Totally ridiculous

I have to say the last few episodes have been totally ridiculous and forced. It has been obvious from the moment April showed up that it was the wedge to drive Lorelei and Luke apart but the way it has gone about is so unrealistic.

First Anna didn't really want Luke involved because she would have told him before now about April but since he has become involved she is able to dictate whether Lorelei gets to see April. I mean it is totally unbelievable that she would not want her involved because she is not married to Luke!

She is a single mom herself, Luke cancelled the wedding because of April and now Lorelei can't see Luke whenever he has April because of some unrealistic condition.

Poor writing all around.

The bit about Paris calling to get info about Logan was unrealistic.

We now know why Luke wanted to wait. Well, he can wait for years, but he will never win over Lorelei. It is because they are both different people. And Lorelei is not "colorful" she's borderline annoying /annoying most of the time. No competition here. After a while, I would get angry, but hey! She's the one marrying someone that uses a ridiculous backwards baseball cap and lumberjack shirt like it is integral part of his body.

Lorelei is being asked by Luke to participate in his daughter birthday party, and of course what she does delight all the girls.. How could she not!!?? She wouldn't be so perfect as a person as she is, would she?

Of course it is easy to go to Beauty Supply and say to all of the girls to buy to their hearts content for the party go really well. It doens't make a genious. You just have to have money. A lot. Unrealistic. And also, out of character for Luke's daughter. She doesn't seem to be a frivolous girl at all!!

Usually, kids know what they want to see, they would ask for a specific movie (obviously, the one they are bombarding with advertisements all over) they wouldn't accept a movie they don't know about that is old, much less 20 years old, without saying anything. What I'm trying to say is that writers try to portray Lorelai as a perfect person, when she's not, nobody is, specially if you had a child at 16. I don't believe that she was a great mother, being alone and having those role models.

Ana was angry because Lorelei throw the party for her daughter. The reason is silly. Her daughter is 13 not 5 yearsa old.. silly drama... ONCE AGAIN!!
