DJ's bedroom is all done being renovated. That is definitely a highlight. The other highlight is how grown up one of the three girls is getting. Pretty heartfelt stuff.
DJ is going through a crisis: DJ refuses to make out with a boy at school so he spreads a rumour that she is a bad kisser. Confiding only to Kimmy, Danny grows worried about DJ not talking to him. He even goes so far as to switch his laundry day. But it is not just DJ's recent crisis. She is in high school and won't always go to dad for help. He invites her to bowl as a means of increasing their bond.
Two funny subplots: Stephanie doesn't like Michelle's kiddie stuff. And Jesse & Joey get locked in the studio. Fun stuff.
I really liked the way that Danny and DJ's ever-changing relationship is explored. One of the hardest things a parent can do it let go. Danny simply needs to get used to DJ solving her own problems.
