Jamie Kennedy, Bobby Lee, Miguel A. Núñez Jr., and Maria Menounos in Kickin' It Old Skool (2007)

Goofs

Kickin' It Old Skool

Edit

Continuity

After his finishing move, during one of the final dance battles, the Crazy Homeless Man falls to the ground - losing his hat in the process. When the camera angle changes, however, the hat is back on his head.
In scene when Darnell (Justin's friend) gets slapped by his wife, he puts his hands on his face because it hurts, but in the next shot he just looks surprise without his hand on his face and then in the next shot (looking at his wife) he still has the hands on his face.
During the first dance off, Hector's hat disappears between shots.

Revealing mistakes

When Justin (Jamie Kennedy's character) is on stage to do "the move" during the final dance-off, the professional dancer is on stage dancing and Jamie Kennedy can be seen in the background leaving the stage.
During the dance-off, the DJ's Numark mixer (DXM01USB) is not connected to any equipment. The power cable can be clearly seen, but there are not any leads connected to the turntables or PA system.
During the final dance off, Darnell is performing a spin on the ground. However the person performing the spin is white.
One of the Transformers (Optimus Prime) in the hospital room is not the American/ Hasbro version.
In the last seen where Justin is about to do his "special move" you can see that there are two Justins: the stunt man on the dance floor and Jamie Kennedy talking to Darnell while walking behind the curtain.

Anachronisms

During the opening credits, which take place on April 20 1986, there is a shot of the legs of a Transformer toy named B'boom; however, B'boom was a part of the Beast Wars toy line and was not released until 1997.

Plot holes

The contest bracket is set up for 8 teams, but there are 9 teams show: 1) Funky Fresh Boys, 2) Iced Cole Crew, 3) Krump Kings, 4) Pink Sushi, 5) Wack Attack, 6) Mizfits, 7) unnamed team in blue/yellow with 'luchadore' style masks, 8) unnamed team in red/grey jogging suits and hats (Run DMC style), 9) unnamed team seen dancing solo in the middle of the stage (no real conformity to their clothing style).
