When Charles Brown has some workmen in his house. Hattie invites him to dinner. In fact Hattie invites him to stay for a few days.
Obviously Eric is put out. Charles has Eric's food, his bedroom and even makes long distance phone calls to Spain.
Again Eric is in his element when he tries to warm up the boiler and when he ends up arguing with the cuckoo clock.
I was surprised that Hattie has Charles Brown round to stay after he used them as skivvies a few episodes earlier.

The unwanted house guest.
Charles has the decorators around, and decides to stay with Eric and Hattie whilst the work is being completed. Hattie tries hard to accommodate Mr Brown, but he of course makes demands.
It does play out exactly as you expect it to, you just know that Charles is going to drive Eric to the point of distraction within minutes, and that he does, in spite of that, it's a classic episode.
There are some very funny one liners, and what's nice is that most of them come from Hattie for a change. Richard Wattis is wonderfully obtuse and condescending throughout, the way Brown delights in causing turmoil for Sykes is the best thing about it.
I like that we finally got to understand exactly what the deal with Peter is, I'm glad we were introduced to Rupert also, scenes of Sykes on his hammock were very funny.
Enjoyed this one, 8/10.
