Goofs

The Losing Edge

South Park

Edit

Continuity

The Batdad is introduced as 'Tom Nelson', though later during the championship game his wife asks him "Chris, will you sit down?"
At 4:27, there is nothing on the wall above Randy and Sharon's bed, but at 13:48, there is suddenly a picture on that wall. Then at 14:28, the picture has disappeared again.
At 4:27, there is a window above Randy and Sharon's dresser. However, at 13:53 and 14:28, that window is missing.
At 13:50, the lamps on each side of Randy and Sharon's bed are different from each other. Moments later at 14:19, they are the same.
At 4:27, an alarm clock is seen sitting next to the lamp on Randy's nightstand. At 14:28, the clock is missing.

Factual errors

Throughout the episode, fans of opposing teams are seen sitting mixed among each other in the bleachers. This would never happen in real life though, because fans segregate themselves and sit on the same side as the dugout of the team they're supporting.

Miscellaneous

During the game against Denver at the state championship, there is a scene where the first 5 innings are tallied up, in order, as 4,2,3,5,4. However, when the final inning is being played, the scores for the first 5 innings change to 4,2,1,6,1.

Errors in geography

In this episode, and also "Christian Rock Hard", there are scenes at the seashore, when in fact South Park takes place in Colorado.

Plot holes

If Little League has a no-tolerance policy for fighting, then the South Park Cows should have automatically lost every game in which Randy fought before reaching the post-season.
They play Denver for the state championship. These turn out to experts at losing even "able to bat themselves out", however they have made it to the state championship.
