Longford (2006)

Goofs

Longford

Edit

Continuity

Opening scene: clock in radio studio reads 2:17; radio host announces time check as 2:15. Same scene at end of movie: clock is the same, radio host's time check is 2:20.

Factual errors

In the end scene we see Hindley with a packet of cigarettes. However, the packet has a health warning on it which was not introduced until 2004 - Myra Hindley died in 2002.

Miscellaneous

In the closing credits, the last names of the characters "Rachel Pakenham" and "Paddy Pakenham," have been misspelled as "Packenham." The correct spelling of Lord Longford's family name, as seen on envelopes and elsewhere in the movie, is "Pakenham."

Anachronisms

When Lord Longford is riding the bus and watches two schoolboys looking at porn, he is on a refurbished Routemaster (RM) bus with fluorescent lighting. At this time the bus would have had light-bulbs as the refurbishment program did not begin until much later.
