Summaries

  • Deborah, Dorothy and Gary are trying to watch 'Star Trek' but are irritated by Tony's silly comments so they contrive to get him out of the room by getting him to dress as Braveheart and play Hide and Seek whilst they reminisce on old television shows and their theme tunes. Gary has ordered pizzas on the basis they are free if the delivery takes over forty five minutes so that when the delivery boy arrives he tries to hide to make up the time but is forced to pay. The quartet then eat their pizzas and carry on watching 'Star Trek'.—don @ minifie-1

Synopsis

  • The title of this episode, "Watching TV", says it all. The epsisode focuses around a single evening in real time as Debs, Dorothy, Tony and Gary lounge on their favorite sofa, watching an old Star Trek movie. Everything starts out peacefully, but soon they become increasingly irritated with a chirpy Tony. In between random discussion about long-forgotten TV shows and waiting for their pizzas, the trio play a number of dirty tricks on Tony. After a bit of sulking, Tony settles down and all is forgiven. Their Star Trek movie ends and their pizzas arrive--to Gary and Tony's dismay- on time. After trying to hide from the delivery man until their "30 minutes or it's free" time is up, Gary pays up and everyone settles back down on the sofa to enjoy their dinner.
