The One Where They Go To Mars...

I really like this episode. It's really funny.

In this episode, everyone's going to Mars University. Fry decides to go there and whilst he does, he competes with a monkey that was made intelligent by Professor Farnsworth. It was his latest invention. Now, I don't remember exactly why Fry decides to attend Mars University, but he does, and it's funny. Meanwhile, Bender tries to make the robot fraternity look cool. I'm pretty sure he was a member once. I hate the monkey in this. He's rude and obnoxious. And I honestly hate him. He's not even that cute. Making a monkey smart is a bad idea. And that's just what Fry learns in this episode.

Overall, I give this episode an 8 out of 10.

Fun 'Animal House' spoof

When the Professor hires his own delivery company to transport his latest experiment to Mars University Fry learns that due to advances over the centuries his status as a college drop out from the 20th Century is the equivalent of a high school drop out in the 30th Century. To remedy this he signs up for the Professor's class. He is somewhat surprised to discover that his room mate is in fact the Professor's experiment; a monkey that has been rendered intelligent by means of a special hat. Meanwhile Bender pays a visit to the local chapter of his old fraternity 'Robot House' and is shocked to discover they are the biggest bunch of squares on campus... he soon sets about remedying that!

This episode is best appreciated if you have seen the film 'Animal House' as much of Bender's antics with 'Robot House' are based on it; even if you haven't seen it I'd think you'd be amused at most of the jokes. Guenther the monkey isn't the greatest character but he has his moments; largely when he makes Fry look even more stupid than normal.

Yet another planet

What I like about Futurama is that well, it is set in the future, but it is also the fact that you get to see some of the planets in our solar system.

They have been to the moon, and now they go to Mars.

What I liked most about this episode is the fact that Fry tries an attempt to go to university, emphasis on trying, Fry soon finds himself stuck with a little monkey who happens to be a bit more intelligent than him.

Not only does Fry go to university, Bender decides to re-join his old frat house which is the recipe for laughter.... and disaster.

Liked the monkey, even though at times the monkey was a bit annoying, I did grow to like him and I wished Guenter would be in more episodes.
