- Bart and Homer are chased by a mob with holding the statue head of Springfield founder, Jedediah Springfield. Bart stops and explains what happened to the mob. After the Simpsons drive home from church, Bart sees that a new movie with violence came out, but Marge wouldn't approve. Bart asks for money to buy something, but he goes to the movie theatre and finds a group of kids who sneak into the movie theatre. They eventually get kicked out and go to the Jedediah Springfield statue and throw rocks at the statue. Bart tries to stop them and the kids think he's not cool enough. Bart wonders how to gain popularity and goes to Homer for help. At night, Bart sneaks out of the house and cuts off the head of Jedediah. People all over Springfield are upset and angry at whoever did this. Bart hears the voice of Jedediah and tells him to make the right choice, and he does. When Homer goes with him, the citizens find out and lead in a mob to go after Bart and Homer.—kevindklenke
