When Mroczkowski lies in a wooden box to check if a body would fit, there is no reason why he is all covered with sawdust after opening the box.
When Mroczkowski and Jacek try to put the wooden box into an elevator and they choose to carry it up the stairs because it doesn't fit in elevator door, it is evident, that the box is smaller than the door and it should fit.
