The look and feel of the spirit drinker was heavily influenced by the id monster from the 1956 movie "Forbidden Planet".

All episodes deal with Wolverine's history and difficulty controlling his rage. Also included was the season 1 finale The Final Decision (1993), an interview and commentary with writer Chris Claremont, and "Stan Lee's Saopbox" commentary by Stan Lee.
