• Wolverine : [Cyclops exits the Blackbird, Wolverine following him out]  Cyclops!

  [unsheathes claws]

  Wolverine : Let's do it! Let's see how tough you are when you ain't givin' orders!

  Jean Grey : Cyclops! Wolverine! Stop that!

  Wolverine : Soldier boy here left 'em behind! For all we know, Morph an' Beast might still be alive!

  Jean Grey : Beast is.

  Wolverine : What about Morph?

  [Jean shakes her head no, then buries her head in Cyckops' shoulder and sobs] 

  Gambit : [places a hand on Wolverine's shoulder]  He's gone, mon ami.

  [Wolverine snatches away from him and storms off] 

• Wolverine : If you're here to apologize for running out on Beast, save your breath.

  Cyclops : I don't apologize for command decisions. How would you like to locate the Sentinels' home base?

  Wolverine : [interested]  When and where?

  Cyclops : Back there with Beast and Morph, do you think I did the right thing?

  Jean Grey : You did what you had to do. So did they.

• Storm : We are being overwhelmed. We must retreat.

  Cyclops : Come on, Wolverine! Let's go!

  Wolverine : Eat dirt, Cyclops. X-Men don't cut and run. I'm going back for Beast and Morph.

  Cyclops : We can't help them.

  Wolverine : Maybe you can't, junior, but I can.

  Cyclops : I won't let you throw your life away! Come back here!

  Wolverine : I go where I wanna go.

  Rogue : [taking a glove off]  Sorry. Not this time, sugar.

  [touching his shoulder] 

  Rogue : Gotta be careful to pull out enough of your energy to stop you without hurting you.

  Wolverine : [weakly]  Morph. Beast. Don't leave 'em.
