I really love "Without A Trace". I feel this is one of the best crime/drama shows on television. The writing is superb not to mention the acting. I admire the way the writers intertwine the characters personal lives with their working lives. This particular episode really got to me, though. I work with abused children & this episode was as real as it gets. There are SO many exploited and abused children in our country alone, that we need to do something about it. I was touched when I saw just how far the character, Bill Shields, was willing to go to rescue the child Melissa. He's one of a few of the "every day heroes" in this world who actually put their lives on the line to help those who need it. Believe me, the law officers need all the help they can get from the public if this type of crime is to be stopped. I hope a lot of parents watched this episode and "took notes". We must protect our children from people like Melissa's uncle who prey and take advantage of children.

What a unique episode

I love this show so much ... All of the episodes are great, but this one ... It's beyond! It was daring to do this episode like this, the awkward silence and feeling like we're out of the loop ... Doing it from the parents POV... It worked though ... Whoever thought of this is BRILLIANT!
