On Friday night Helen and Joe chase Brian away so they can be together. The following day, Saturday, they see Brian and learn he's getting married on Sunday. When Helen asks Joe what day it is today, Joe replies "Friday".
When Gwen and Brian jump out of the Sandpiper Air aircraft (a low winged twin-engine), the cut to the aircraft exterior shows them jumping from a different aircraft (a high-winged twin-engine).
