Artie Blows Up A Cake In The Kitchen
DKosty12321 December 2009
Warning: Spoilers
West & Artemus are assigned protecting a meeting of Supreme Court judges which appears to be threatened by a mad bomber. In the process of trying to find the bomber they find out that a Judge Mcginley (played by Ed Begley Jr) who wants to be named to the Supreme Court seems to be somehow involved in the incidents.

There are not quite as many stunts in this one as some West episodes but there is some Conrad gymnastics in the finale. Overall the plot here is better than some shows. Artie spends most of this show in his chef disguise and his cake is booby trapped by the Judge. The Judges frustration is that the other judges don't feel he is qualified to be named to the court so he wants to kill off several judges at the meeting to create some openings.

Because the plot is fairly straight forward & Begley adds enough to the episode to make it a better than average outing for the series.

Among the most forgettable of the whole show;

Yes you can live without this one, except for the most interesting, because there is not a bunch of bad guys to fight for Jim West. And more humor than usual. Nearly slapstick scènes as in Buster Keaton era.
