Penn Jillette and Teller in The West Wing (1999)

Goofs

In the Room

The West Wing

Edit

Continuity

While Vinick is shining his shoes, he remarks that his committee would hold a hearing into "Margrudien" which was reference to "Chad Margrudien" who was fired from his job as advance man for the Vice President back in Season 1 ("Take Out the Trash Day"), which happened five years prior.
Jed Bartlet says, "a touch too technical for someone who almost flunked organic chemistry," and Millicent Griffith remarks that he got a B+ in organic chemistry.

In Shibboleth (2000), Bartlet says to Leo "I never actually studied chemistry." Furthermore, it would be extremely odd for an American-studies major to take organic chemistry as it is typically a course only taken by, chemistry, biology, pre-med, and nursing students.
While suffering from partial paralysis due to his MS, Bartlet loses feeling in and the ability to move both hands. It then progresses to his legs and his whole right arm. In a meeting with the senior staff a short time later, he remarks that he has gotten the use of his left hand back. He promptly gestures with his right hand while talking, and uses his right arm shortly thereafter to push his own wheelchair, but no reference is made (by anyone) to any abatement of the paralysis in his right arm.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

On AirForce 1 , the pilot announces " we are now at cruising altitude " while external shot shows leading edge still extended ,ie. landing or takeoff configuration.

Errors in geography

While on Air Force One, en route to Beijing, the flight announcer says, "We are anticipating a smooth ride across the Pacific" and "We will be passing the Hawaiian Ridge to our south". Flying in a straight line from New Orleans, they will travel north of Alaska and not over the Pacific Ocean.
