- Epstein has a job prospect, but Washington unknowingly takes the job before Epstein gets a chance to interview. Their friendship is in danger, and they decide to settle their differences through a fight at the local spa.
- Pratfalls and other physical comedy plays the strongest role in this over-the-top Sweathog-fest, in which an innocent mistake puts "Boom-Boom" Washington squarely in the sights of a hurt and angry Epstein. It may be the first time we see both Juan Ep and Freddie Wash BOTH in a coat and tie, even though this is the final season of the show.
A gymnasium managed by Mr. Woodman's niece is the central set in this episode, where an older fitness-focused female is in need of a young man to work in her antique shop. After Epstein is unable to make telephone contact with her, Boom-Boom literally runs into her in the weight room. He exchanges pleasantries - and pugilism - with her, she hires him on the spot. Unaware that he has stepped on his friends toes, the celebrate the job - until they discover the mix-up. That's when Epstein's instinct for ill-will drives a wedge in their long standing relationship. The two simply stop talking, instead of resorting to violence.
However, after Horseshack and his new wife invite them to a dinner party in an attempt at reconciliation, the silent treatment turns to threats, and and then to fisticuffs. They return to the gym, so as to settle the score at a place where the only harm would be to each other, and not Horshack's apartment - which, curiously, resembles a small Italian cafe. They remove their shirts, much to the delight of the live studio audience, and clumsily dance around on the mat, unable to hit each other - harming only themselves with the gym equipment. They finally end up crawling on their stomachs, still daring the other to hit first, when the humor of the situation overtakes them, and they resolve to put the hurt feelings behind them, because no job is worth losing their friendship.
It is worth noting that, although we learn a valuable lesson from the reviled Sweathogs in this heartwarming tale, no one stood up and said the words, "Can't we all just get along!?!?"
