When Josh Randall (Steve McQueeen) and John Garth (Arthur Franz) enter the 'City Hotel', the outside of that wooden building looks run down with a hand painted sign above the entrance. However when they leave out the same door, it's now a nicely appointed brick building with a professionally lettered sign over the front door.
