Continuity

When Elizabeth brings water to Grandpa, Ben, and Jason, they all take a drink from the ladle. Ben is holding the ladle, when Elizabeth goes off with Grandpa. The camera cuts back to Ben, and he is no longer holding the ladle, but he was never seen putting it back in the bucket. Then when Elizabeth is riding Blue back to the mill with Grandpa, she no longer has the bucket of water.

Plot holes

It's wildly inconsistent that a seasoned Depression-era storekeeper like Ike Godsey would think it's a good idea to take out a loan (putting up his own business as collateral) to buy 50 refrigerators and try to sell them in a community where many people don't even have electricity in their homes.
