Continuity

When Alvira is leaving, in a long shot, Elizabeth is on the right side of the screen and goes down a step on the porch. When it cuts to a closer shot, she is back on the porch and suddenly on the left side of the screen.
During the dinner scene, Grandma angrily slams the warmer oven door shut three times in 15 seconds. The first time is on camera after Grandpa says, "It appears real trim to me, Alvira darling," the second is right after Alvira says "An actress' chief asset is her body, it pays her to look after it" (off-camera, but it is clearly heard) and the third time is right after that when Olivia goes to the stove for some more stew.
Ike Godsey is buying a ticket to Ms. Drummond's performance but Grandpa tells him he donated his back room so no charge. Cut to Olivia and John seated in the audience discussing MaryEllen's absence, Ike is already seated near Olivia talking to the Baldwins. Then Ike is walking past the audience to his seat but he's already seated. Seems the scenes were edited wrong after several takes.
