- Cincinnati is the current stop on famed pop singer Linda Taylor's tour, of which Andy is well aware as he and she were in a serious relationship several years ago before she became famous. Linda, previously unaware of Andy being in Cincinnati now, and Andy effortlessly pick up where they ended when they meet at her media conference. With talk of being in love, Andy has to decide if his love for Linda and being part of her traveling entourage is stronger than his commitment to WKRP and what he's been able to accomplish in such a short time for a small and struggling station. Meanwhile, Venus and Bailey have to convince Johnny to partake in the "Win a Date with a DJ" contest, both Venus and Johnny who are to take the winners to Linda's concert as part of the date. Venus is able to persuade Johnny by using his method of choosing the winners who are to submit written entries. Will Venus' surefire method for himself work for Johnny? And from an encounter with Howard R.
