The Mounties get their man
bkoganbing17 February 2020
British actor Tom Bell guest stars in this Virginian episode as a Mountie come over to America to get his man. Or a group of wolvers headed by Ben Johnson. The trouble is he's way out of his jurisdiction and the RCMP have him down as a deserter.

Bell has some interesting ideas that would almost qualify him for a discipleship in Albert Schweitzer's reverence for life philosophical school. There's a great scene with Bell, James Drury, and a scorpion to explain what drives Bell.

Johnson is a mean one, but he might not be doing anything illegal.,

You'll have to see the episode to see how the legal and moral conundrums are worked out.

Mother Nature vs Man's Nature
labenji-1216315 October 2020
Why are we still watching programs that were created half century ago, about a time that's more than 100 years ago? The answer is, we long for those days when our country was still lush and beautiful and simpler. But I'm not certain that life was ever simple, it's not human nature to live and let live, enough is never enough -- we kill and destroy humans, animals, the planet in the name of progress -- yet we have failed as humans to progress beyond our savage and/or selfish nature... Johnny Moon was a good watch--enjoy!
