Mark and Willie are paired up with two girls for a school project on marriage, but their respective "wives" seem better suited to the opposite brother; David develops a competitive obsession with Sandy.
This episode is everything that Season 2's "A Night to Remember" - where the twins went on a double date -- wasn't. The dull child actresses in that one really dragged it down. Here, a young Kellie Martin shines as the bossy Tracey - you can totally see she was destined.
It is a delight seeing the kids play grown-up here and there is a lot of mileage that comes from the whole "mismates" premise. Willie gets a great line about the "old ball and chain" and is the one to suggest the boys "swap wives".
The subplot with David obsessed with besting Sandy at everything from basketball to arm wrestling is a little silly, so I am taking away one star for that. Otherwise, this is one of the best stories for Willie and Mark since the peeping tom episode in early Season 2.
The script cleverly works in some lines that help flesh out more of Sandy's backstory.
Funny and very enjoyable, thanks to the younger cast members - for a change. 8/10.
