Still on probation, Berg is moved to the morgue; Johnny ruins a wall in Irene's place and she is forced to spend the night with him and Sharon; a new trainee firefighter is determined to outdo Pete.

Berg, still on probation, is transferred to the morgue where he can't do any more damage. He finds himself very attracted to the funeral-home worker. Johnny ruins a wall in Irene's place and she is forced to spend the night with him and Sharon. She brings her two cats that she wants to breed, which keeps Johnny and Sharon awake. Irene and Sharon hit it off and Johnny becomes upset. A new trainee firefighter, Marti, is determined to outshine Pete, and things become very competitive on training day.—jem
