Pete cuts off the tip of his finger slicing vegetables and Berg tries to get him to hospital; things go wrong with the taxi ride, the finger is left in the taxi, and he struggles to retrieve it. Sharon has trouble getting a job as an assistant in a law firm and is finally offered a position with a small-time lawyer, but she is unhappy and considers him unethical. Ashley uses Johnny as a subject for a psychology paper; he deliberately causes difficulties for her, but she manages to have the last laugh.—jem
