Berg comes out of his room and Ashley serves him a plate of scrambled eggs. A few moments later, he is shown eating a bowl of cereal.
She scoops out eggs from a pan in which she had been cooking onto a plate which sits next to a blue bowl on the counter (which, ostensibly had been prepared off camera, previously). Berg never picks up the plate. A few moments later, he picks up the blue bowl of cereal and prepares to eat from it. The plate with eggs is still on the counter where it had been before. He simply chose to eat the cereal.
