Nancy Malone and Barry Nelson in The Twilight Zone (1959)

Goofs

Stopover in a Quiet Town

The Twilight Zone

Edit

Continuity

When they are on the train, the wife looks out of the window directly to her left, to see the train pulling out of the station. However, the window one seat behind her reveals that the outside scenery is standing still.
On the train, the wife closes the blinds on the window. As they are pulling into the station, she lifts one of them to look out the window. In the next scene, the blinds are all open.

Revealing mistakes

The church's services, according to the sign, are at 8, 10, and 12 AM. The last should be PM.
When the husband rings the church bell, the cord pulls itself up and down, as it would if it were connected to the bell itself, with the weight of the bell pulling the rope back up. When the closeup is shown thought, the rope is connected to the ringer, not the bell on a wheel.

Crew or equipment visible

At the car, when they discover there is no engine, Nancy sits down on the curb, and there is someone sitting on a chair in the background just visible along the left edge of the frame.
When the Fraziers are in the kitchen of the house they woke up in, Bob goes to open the refrigerator. As he walks toward it, a shadow of a crew member crisscrosses over the refrigerator.
When the camera pans to Rod Serling's opening narration there is a very brief glimpse of crew members and lighting equipment between the set and Serling's backdrop.

Boom mic visible

As they walk down the street, just after shouting, "Is anybody here?...Somebody?" the shadow of the boom mic is visible on the sidewalk.
The shadow of the boom mic is visible on the wall behind the couple during the interior church scene.
