Goofs

Mr. Dingle, the Strong

The Twilight Zone

Edit

Factual errors

Even if someone was strong enough to lift a building, it would crumble rather than maintaining its integrity. Additionally, it would be physically impossible to lift it from the inside.

Revealing mistakes

Neither the television camera or the TV host's microphone are plugged in to anything.
A close-up shot of the man Dingle is lifting over his head shows part of the lifter's face - revealing that an actor other than Burgess Meredith is used here.
Before Dingle tries to lift the building, a crack can already be seen in the ceiling beam.
If one looks at the head of the "man" Dingle lifts over his head, it's actually a dummy.
When Mr. Dingle rips the bar stool out of the floor one can see the strings before, during, and after him doing so.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

The sound of the table breaking begins before Mr. Dingle hits it.
Dingle's boulder he lifts and places on the ground sounds with a light tap - no matter how strong the one putting it down, a dull bump should be heard.
The alarm clock continues to ring for just a split second after Dingle smashes it.

Crew or equipment visible

When Dingle is looking in the mirror in his apartment, just as the scene ends, you can see a shadow of the camera in the mirror.
When Dingle lifts the the park bench and also when he lifts the statue the wires doing the lifting can be seen.
