  Narrator : It was mid-October when the stranger rode into Crater Junction. He was tired. And if the truth were known, he was a little frightened. As he passed along the street, he could feel the eyes of the town on his back, and on the thing he carried tied to the pack horse. But the looks didn't bother the stranger. He didn't care about the town or the people in it. And most of all, he didn't care what they thought. He had a job to do, and he wanted to be done with it.
