Bud Collyer mentions, at the close of the show, that Kitty Carlisle, is off to for the London premiere of "My Fair Lady." Miss Carlisle's husband, Moss Hart, directed the Broadway smash musical, which premiered in New York on March 15, 1956. It premiered in London on April 28, 1958, with a Royal Command performance on April 30, 1958 for Her Royal Highness and other assembled members of the royal family.
Bud announces that Hy Gardner, who has been on a press junket in Europe, returns for the April 29th broadcast and that actress, Joan Bennett, will be sitting in for Kitty Carlisle next week.
