The funniest episode of Three's Company...
knotheadusc14 December 2006
This episode of Three's Company is a classic. It beats all the Chrissy episodes hands down, even though Barry Williams from The Brady Bunch is a guest star!

I swear, the first time I saw this episode when it originally aired, I almost wet my pants laughing. Shame on TVLand and Nick at Nite for editing the funniest part of the episode. If you haven't seen this one, rent the DVD so you don't miss the best part. I recently watched this episode and got to see the entire dance scene at last. It was just as funny as it was the first time it aired on national TV! May John Ritter rest in peace. He was truly a gifted comedian.

Also the funniest episode of Three's Company in my opinion

This is by far my favourite episode of Three's Company!! John Ritter's performance is SOOO hilarious from the time he shows up at the party with Janet. Every time it's going to be on, even if it's at 3 am..I make sure to watch it. I never get sick of it!! His physical comedy SHINES in this episode.

I know there are SO many episodes that are top notch hilarious, so many to choose from, but yes, this is my favourite.

If you haven't seen it....you have missed something very special!!! I consider this episode and an episode of "The Cosby Show" where John Ritter plays the husband whose wife (played by his future real wife Amy Yasbeck) is going to have a baby. They had not ever met before this episode. Eerily in this episode they have a baby girl, just like they had irl with their daughter Stella.

The 2 best comedic performances in sitcoms by John Ritter definitely!!! SEE THIS EPISODE OF THREE'S COMPANY!!! It'll have you in stitches!!!!

MISS YOU JOHN...R.I.P

Could be the best Three's Company episode.

I have a hard time picking favorites, but 'Up In The Air' is definitely up for my possible favorite episode of Three's Company. John Ritter's performance is nothing short of brilliance. I read that he had little experience with dance and was worried about doing this scene, as his forte was acting and physical comedy, but he pulled off an amazing performance that showed he did have dancing ability when needed, and that, coupled with the physical comedy parts of this episode make this an episode I will never forget. If you haven't seen this episode, do yourself a favor and give it a watch, it may be from the early 1980's but it's timeless, as I have the series on dvd and still laugh like crazy when I put this episode on.

One of my all time favourite 'Three's Company' episodes.
Hey_Sweden2 June 2015
Janet gets invited to a posh evening party on an off coast island, to be hosted by David Winthrop (Barry Williams of 'The Brady Bunch'). She decides to bring Jack along in the hopes that it will make David jealous. The problem is, since travelling there requires going by plane, Jack is panicked. He's never flown before. So Larry helps him out by giving him some tranquilizers. At the party, Jack takes some liquor on top of the drugs, and this causes him to take leave of his senses. He then becomes the life of the party, dancing all over the place!

It should come as no surprise that 'Up in the Air' was one of the late, great John Ritters' personal favourite episodes. It allows him to indulge in some truly wonderful physical comedy as well as some well choreographed footwork. Ritter was rarely as funny as he is here, as he makes all manner of faces and interacts with the guests. Since Janet had told Jack to make a good impression on the guests, Jack keeps spinning tales to individual party-goers about what he does for a living (Jesuit priest, brain surgeon, congressman).

All of the cast members are fine, but this really is Ritters' show. He cracks this 'Three's Company' fan up constantly, especially when he emerges from behind a bar doing a Carmen Miranda routine.

Mr. Furley doesn't show up here, but in truth you won't miss him as Ritter carries this episode wonderfully on his own.
