- Red considers Kitty's menopause the worst threat since the Korean war. Red says that it is his worst dry streak, and just like the enemy in the Korean war, the menopause can jump out and attack you at any moment. Now Kitty is angry that she is old as her "baby" Eric is going off to college. The boys have an orientation trip coming up at the University of Wisconsin college. Kitty is having hot flashes and extreme mood swings.
For college orientation day, the Foreman drive the boys (Fez, Hyde and Eric) to state college University of Wisconsin (UW). Michael Kelso brings a note from his parents pinned on his lapel but the $30 that were enclosed with the note are spent by him on a video-game. The note requested Red to take Michael to the UW in exchange for the $30.
Being apart in different colleges is a depressing prospect for Eric and Donna. But while Red is shocked by the 'hippies', the kids love the college (the hostel is co-ed). Only Hyde and Jackie are miserable as they play stupid power games. Jackie promises Hyde that she won't kiss any guys at her tour to the Marquette, but Hyde makes no such promise.
Bob decided Donna must go to private Marquette college with Jackie and hence doesn't want her to go to the UW tour. Eric wants to go to the Marquette tour with Donna, but Red nixes that since state schools are cheap and that's all Red can afford.
Kitty tries to talk to the gang about her menopause issues during the car ride, but Kelso keeps interrupting her with noises from his video game and she throws it out of the window.
The guys are thrilled to know that UW is a Co-Ed college, when a blonde in a towel walks right by them. Red takes the guys back to the motel where they are all staying in the one room. He cannot find even one all male dormitory on campus. The guys attend a dorm party at night. Hyde turns down a sure thing due to Jackie. The girl had never made out with a guy in a beard and was heading to her room when Hyde remembered that he had a girlfriend. Eric realizes that if Donna goes to a different college, she might start seeing other guys (as that's what girls with boyfriends are doing at UW).
Eric calls Donna at Marquette and finds that Donna is loving the college as professors listen to Zeppelin and wear barrettes.
Donna tells Jackie that she can't control Hyde and asks her to play it cool. Donna says that Jackie has to pretend that she does not care what Hyde does and eventually he will come around. After coming from UW, Hyde tells Jackie that he didn't kiss anyone, and Jackie doesn't tell him what she did and says, "good to know". This irritates Hyde.
Donna doesn't want to be away from Eric (she is afraid of going to different colleges and being apart for 4 years), and so decides to go to UW college (when the time comes for admissions) just for Eric's sake.
