- Red installs a brand-new water heater in the basement.
Eric wants to buy Donna a $60 fake necklace for their first "kiss" anniversary. Hyde advises Eric to pick her some flowers. Hyde says that the fact he remembered would be loved by Donna, so he doesn't need a fancy gift. Eric discovers his 'secret' stash of cash is emptied, but also that everybody knew about it.
Since Laurie would brag about plundering it, Eric confronts her. Laurie says that if she did steal it, she would tell Eric and then steal some more. Eric comes to believe after talking to Laurie that it must be the generally wicked Hyde. Laurie convinces Eric by saying that Hyde tried to steal Donna the previous year
Laurie is belligerent and tells Eric that he was "an accident". Kitty and Red never planned to have a 2nd kid, and sued the condom company, which Kitty can't deny. Kitty tells Eric that Hyde is a good person and that he would never steal in the house. He is Eric's friends and Eric can trust him. Eric points the suspicion at Hyde during their pot smoking session. Hyde not only denies being the thief but demands apologies; the truth proves surprising and awkward for more than one.
Donna buys Eric an engraved digital watch for the anniversary and Eric gives her flowers. Hyde sees Red putting the money back in Eric's secret stash place. Turns out Red took the money from Eric's stash to pay for the water heater. Red is mad at Eric for doubting Hyde. Eric says that Hyde made a move on Donna and thus is not very trust worthy. Red suggests that both get into bare knuckle boxing to settle this, but both back out. He says, if they are not mad enough to fight, then they are not mad and asks them to move on. Eric apologizes to Hyde. Hyde asks Eric to move on from the Donna incident and to stop throwing it in his face.
Jackie is entering the local Dairy pageant with Kelso as her "pageant boy". For feminist Donna the pageant is demeaning, for Fez just an occasion to spend time together with Jackie as her grooming assistant. For boyfriend and fellow, nay superior, beauty Kelso, winning the pageant is as much his as her ambition. So, he declares himself her coach, in charge of her motivation, interview and talent, which she hasn't got. Kelso thinks that helping Jackie win the beauty pageant will make him a darling of all the hottest girls in town. Jackie only wants to win so she can lord it over other "normal" people. Kelso suggests a tightrope walk or riding a mechanical bull as Jackie's possible talents for the pageant show.
On the way to the pageant, Kelso's van runs out of gas. Fez points out to Jackie that Kelso is exploiting her for her beauty. Jackie in turn forgives Kelso as he must really believe in her if he thought he could ride her coattails to the top. Jackie performs the Clog dance at the pageant.
