The only bathroom of a two-bedroom apartment would never be a master bath, attached to the larger master bedroom. Whenever visitors or the occupant of the second bedroom would need to use the bathroom, they would have to pass through the master bedroom. The occupant of the master bedroom would have no privacy unless they locked the bedroom door, which would make the bathroom inaccessible. In effect, the master bedroom would function as a hallway with a door.
