Ron Ely gets off to a great start in this action-packed episode. Important note, I see this listed as a half-hour show, but it is definitely an hour show (minus the usual time for commercials).
There is enough story and action here for a two-hour movie, so it is a fast-paced adventure. Also lots of beautiful shots of African wildlife. The print on the dvd has good, full color--not faded or washed out looking, as one sometimes finds with these dvd releases. Ron Ely is warm, sympathetic--and a really big, buff guy, of course! Ultra-masculine as one wants in a Tarzan. Another plus: good use of location shooting; I believe this was filmed in Mexico. Bottom line: highly enjoyable and recommended.
