Jim knocks out Jack Elam's character during a fistfight. Elam's hat flies off but the next shot show Elam still unconscious but the hat is back on his head.
When Jim gets off his horse and a rope is thrown around him his gun is on the right side! In the next scene his gun is back on the left side.
