Pearl Hart lost the shooting contest with Jim Hardy after her fifth shot ended up outside of the black bulls-eye in the first white ring surrounding it; all five of Hardy's shots were in the bulls-eye. Though the close up of Pearl Hart's fifth shot showed it clearly outside of the bulls-eye, the longer shot showed that the shot was primarily in the white ring, but also touching the black bulls-eye. In normal shooting competitions, if any part of the bullet hole touches an inner (higher scoring) ring then that shot counts for the higher score.
Pearl shoots a hole through a coin tossed into the air. It isn't even knocked off its trajectory by a small amount, the bullet seemingly goes right through it. That is Physically impossible because the coin has such a small mass a bullet may dent it but the coin would be knocked a long distance off its trajectory.
At the end of the episode there was a sign that showed Tucson was elevated at 2,423.
